DataRobot Inc. raised another $270 million in the latest funding round led by  Altimeter Capital. The company provides monitoring and automation tools for machine learning models.
 

SmartHop raises over $4 million for building an AI-based freight dispatcher service targeted towards small businesses. The funding round was led by Equal Ventures with participation from Greycroft and Las Olas VC. The company’s system uses ML to match customers with the carriers.

Coveo, a startup developing AI-based enterprise and data analytics software, raised $227 million in new funding at a valuation of more than $1 billion. The funding round was led by  Omers Growth Equity. The company is looking to enhance its personalization and recommendations engine, which is customized to customer-specific search functions.  

Invoca Inc., a provider of  AI-based phone calls analysis tools, raised $41 million in a new equity financing round led by H.I.G. Growth Partners, Upfront Ventures. The round was participated by Accel, Morgan Stanley Alternative Investment Partners, Industry Ventures, and Bonfire Ventures.
Since 2008, Invoca Inc. has raised around $101 million in equity capital. The company lists  Dish Network Corp., Suntrust Banks Inc., and U.S. Bancorp as customers.

Calri Inc. raises another $60 million in a new funding round bring total funding raised so far to $135 million. The funding round was led by Sapphire and with participation from existing and new investors, including Sequoia, Bain, Tenaya, and Madrona. The company, based in Sunnyvale, California, provides AI-based sales and marketing tools.

SparkCognition, an Austin-based  Industrial AI developer, raises $100 million in the latest funding. The round was led by March Capital Partners and participated by ReuTemasek, a Singapore state investment venture. The company backed by Boeing has raised $175 million so far and developing a routing system for self-flying planes.

 

Fiddler, a startup developing tools to analyze, validate, and manage AI, has raised $10.2 million in series A funding. The round was led by Light Speed and Lux Capital with participation from Bloomberg and Haystack ventures.

 

Kheiron Medical Technologies, a software company in London recently raised $22 million in Series A round which was led by Atomico, a European capital firm.   The round was participated by Greycroft, Connect Ventures, Exor Seeds, and Hoxton. The company is building  Machine Leaning tools for cancer diagnosis.

Eko Devices raises $20 million in Series B funding round for developing AI-based tools for heart diseases. The round was led by Artis Ventures and participated by 3M Ventures, DigiTx Partners, Mayo Clinic, NTT Venture Capital, among others. The company has raised $28 million since 2013. 

TuSimple, an autonomous freight truck startup, raised another $120 million. The Series D funding round was led by mainland China-based Sina, which also operates Weibo, a microblogging site. UPS, a minority stake owner, also participated in the latest round. Thus far, the company has raised $215 million and valued well over a billion US$. 

DataRobot, an ML model provider, raises $206 million in Series E  funding round, which was led by  Sapphire Ventures Ventures.  In addition to existing investors, the round was participated by World Innovation Lab, Tiger Global Management, Alliance Bernstein, among others. So far, the company has raised around $431 million.

CMR Surgical raises$204 million in a third funding round at a valuation of more than $1 billion. The round was participated by several existing and new investors, including Cambridge Innovation Capital, LGT, Silk Road Fund, and Escala Capital Investments. Chief Executive Martin Frost is predicting public listing next financing move.
